Default converting DMG to ISO - 11-13-2009, 09:35 AM

I have I OS x 10.6 DMG image and I'm trying to convert it ti ISO to try install it in Vmware workstation 7 in Windows 7 x64. I tried several times Dmg2img (run CMD as administrator) but with no success. I'm sure I'm messing up the commande line. I always get an error: The system cannot find the file specified.

I named Os x 10.6.dmg to mac.dmg and put it on the root. The command i use is this one:

dmg2img [-v] [-s] <c:\mac.dmg> [<c:\mac.img>]

Any help is appreciated

Thanks in advance

I'm surprised people don't google for this, since the dmg2iso program and source have been published for a while. Depending on if you do this in Windows or Linux (my compile on 10.5/i386 worked fine), you then can use a loop mount for the iso or the freeware iso mounter for windows (I hear this has become part of newer versions of Windows but I have no clue)

Also, if you have OSX, convert the image to a CD/DVD Master in Disk Utility, and rename the .cdr to .iso.
