Agreed. Way to go. But you can actually hack the DVD player to work with externals. I've done it. Hex editing. Really not worth effort.

Hi Guys,
Anybody can show me how to do this step by step . Especially going into the file mentioned with a Hex Editor . What do you mean by changing internal to external and where can you do this?
I'm a noob and i have no clue about this.

Thanks for your reply Akki. I studied the link you posted but being a noob it was a bit scary for me. Any way i tried and found six places where i had to change the internal to external in the DVD palyback file using a Hexeditor.I ran repair permissions as well. I could not ( or should i say : i don't know how to search and change the Hex number in the article.)Then i replaced the DVD playback file with the mods but it did not work. Still same old error message. I searched the forum and found similar unsuccessful attempts by others using the same method but some had success. I tried using VLC but i get no picture, only sound.

Not sure what to do now. Any help would be appreciated. What is your version of VLC.
Now i use handbrake on my MacBook pro and resize a movie and watch it in Itunes and also on my Iphone.

This seems like a simple question, but how do you get to the "Frameworks" file? Through Finder?

And by file I mean folder. I seriously can't find it. Still new to a Mac...

Seriously, no one know how to access the frameworks folder on OSX? I know there must be some viewing issue that I'm missing, because I know there is a frameworks folder somewhere.
