Default ssd vs sata iphone dev - 10-17-2009, 05:03 AM

hello,

i am considering getting a netbook strictly for a hackintosh setup for iphone development.

what r ur opinion ssd vs sata is SSD much faster??
will snow leopard run on mini 10v?? or only mini 9?
i am knew to this, so is the mini10v as easy to configure, or does it need more tinkering?
is there a recommended setup??
what are things you cant do with a hackintosh if theres any?

Thank you
Moe

Well the keyboard is better on the 10v I hear but if you are planning on hooking up an external one to it that wont be an issue. And the 9 and 10v can run OSX and they are both just as easy to configure. I have my mini 9 setup with the iPhone SDK and it runs great on my SSD.

I think I would go with a 32 gig SSD and larger external hard drive if you need the space.

Mini 9 | OS X 10.5.7 | 2GB RAM | 32 gig supertalent SSD
