I have a dell mini 9 running Mac osx leopard with the latest updates. Now i want upgrade to snow leopard, i bought a copy snow leopard pop ed into my usb DVD drive and did the upgrade, everything seemed to go well but when i go to about this mac it still show that i am at Version 10.5.8,i even tried the USB flash dive method with netbook boot maker but i get the same results, can anybody show me a good guide on how to upgrade to snow leopard.
any help would be appreciated

First thing, good luck with this upgrade.

I used the following guide to upgrade/install SL.

Install Snow Leopard WITHOUT a USB DVD drive, using your 10.5.8 and Windows

I was hoping to see an upgrade path, but I think I didn't have enough room on my partition to do it. So I opted to reformat and reinstall. I was already prepared for that since I backed up all my local directors onto a USB device.

NOTE: I have a 10v, so this *might* not work for you.

well so far I haven't had any luck, I trying flash drive install with NetbookBoot Maker Boot loader but when try to boot and do the install I get that warning that says you need to restart your computer hold down your power button until it turns off then press the power button again
