Default backing up OSX onto a NTFS drive... - 10-13-2009, 01:34 AM

What would you peeps sugest as backing up an entire OSX install drive of about 90 gigs onto a 1TB usb NTFS drive? the NTFS drive will need another partition created and formated with OSX partition...what tool would be best for this? partition magic through a windows box?

If hooking up the USB drive into the wondows box, and setting things up *proper* [proper means to create new OSX part. without erasing any data]with partition magic (if this really is the best method), How then should I migrate over the OSX data? Is Carbon Cloner a stable tool for migration *AND* the restore?
