Default Driver installation - 12-04-2008, 12:18 AM

I just added a WWAN card to my Mini and it works great in Windows. I have the OS X drivers and want to install them for that OS as well. The installer added some KEXTs to the installation. Am I right in thinking that for those to take effect I have to copy them to the EFI partition and then run the update script?

Dell Mini 9. 2GB RAM. 64GB Runcore SSD. 32GB SDHC. Novatel 3G WWAN.
Hacked MacBook Air SuperDrive. Real HD LED.
Quad booting OS X, Ubuntu 8.1, XP Pro and Windows 7.

Thats what I've found. I tried adding some into the regular /System/Library/Extensions folder, but didn't have any luck with them loading up on reboot. Adding them to the EFI partition worked fine though.
