Default Sleep with connected USB device, 10.6.1 on 10v - 10-06-2009, 12:19 AM

I have seen some comments about sleep working very well with v10.6.1. For a few days I struggled with a major problem:

If I put the device to sleep (explicit command or closing lid) while there are USB devices connected, when I reopen lid and try to wake it up the screen reappear but the cursor is missing and there is no way to control the 10v desktop. I had to force power off.

Sleep works perfectly so far if I remember to unplug my USB devices eg. mice, USB keys, etc. beforehand. Not a major problem, but quite a nuisance.

Did I miss something?

Enable usb wake support for the 10v.

EDIT: that actually might not work... although I could have sworn it was working before.

Thanks meklort..... should have thought of that.... it worked when I am plugged in through AC. Thanks! (I think the A04 BIOS says its AC mode only so maybe it does not work in all circumstances). Still will get in the habit of unplugging USB stuff before putting i to sleep when I am on battery power.

Ya, that might work with AC only.
The good news is I've fixed that issue for the 10v (and probably the mini 9 too, I'll verify it later) so any setting will work.
