On wednesday I upgraded two 10v's one had a A05 and the other was A06. The A05 bios'ed 10v installed perfect with out any problems at all. The A06 got a KP very early into the installation. Tried again same thing. Then realized we never checked that bios on that 10v. Ended up being A06 we had to lower it to A04 and then it installed without any problems.
You shouldnt have an OS on the 10v at this point. So you need to follow this, and VERY closely
Downgrade your Mini 10v BIOS to A04 (Requires Windows)
After you lower your bios to A05, A04 you shouldnt have a problem installing 10.6.0
I used netbookmaker 0.8.2 final found here

And followed these instructions which is the 2 usb method, as I have a friend with a macbook pro so made the snow leopard copy onto a 16 gig usb drive.

I found it easier to downgrade to A04 then to try another method with running A06.

Moved to OS X section, it's more appropriate and more people with experience can chime in.
