Default Enable quiet boot - 09-24-2009, 12:00 AM

Quiet boot when checked in Netbook installer 0.8.3 RC1 doesn"t seem to work!
How can I get it to work?

From Chameleon docs:
Quote:
Options useful in the com.apple.Boot.plist file:
"Boot Graphics"=Yes|No Use graphics mode or text mode when starting.
"Quiet Boot"=Yes|No Use quiet boot mode (no messages or prompt).
Timeout=8 Number of seconds to pause at the boot: prompt.
"Instant Menu"=Yes Force displaying the partition selection menu.

Haven't tried it, but making the appropriate changes to com.apple.Boot.plist should work?

Status: A little slow to boot. Otherwise perfect!

If it is not working properly, please submit a bug report to the Google Code page. Link in my signature.

Thanks

Tried it and yes making the changes works. You will want to get rid of the Timeout and then change the No to a Yes.

Can't find any of this maybe I'm not finding the right file. Can you tell me exactly where it is?
