Default 10v trackpad observation - 09-18-2009, 05:41 PM

I haven't seen this posted yet, sorry if it's a duplicate...

I have found that the trackpad on the 10v will handle two-finger scrolling, and behaves much better, if you just make your fingers smaller....

I have spatulate fingers, and one of my fingers, when placed flat on the pad, is enough to activate the "two finger" mode. If I just use the very tip of my finger (reducing the cross section in contact with the pad), it does the "one-finger" thing.

I've tried adjusting the settings on the sensitivity in the trackpad preferences, and for me, they work the best when they're in the middle, and I "make my fingers small".

After about an hour of noodling with the trackpad, I think I've developed the technique enough that it seems to act as one might expect....cursor goes where I want, doesn't stick, or jump around to random places....
