The only think I can think of is if you used an old version of NetbookInstaller.
If you did, try running the latest version, install Chameleon RC3, reboot and then try regenerating the dsdt.

If that doesn't work, try going to /Extra and deleting the dsdt manual, rebooting, and then regenerating it.

I had this same problem, my BIOS settings kept getting reset every time I restarted. Re-running NetbookInstaller didn't seem to fix the problem. I then manually deleted the dsdt file (and in the process found another, older, version of dsdt in the root which I also deleted) rebooted, regenerated the dsdt, rebooted again and now everything works. BIOS settings are saved

Thanks for all your help and hard work Meklort!!!!

Ah, good point.

If you've used and old version of DellEFI any time, /dsdt.aml will exist and override the new default at /Extra. The /dsdt.am; file needs to be deleted (I'll have the next version do that).

Good catch. I searched my Mini9 and found two (2) copies of dsdt.aml . . . . one of them dated last May. I deleted the one dated May 09, and the system seems to still work well.

Thanks for the tip !

Last May would be May 2008, not 2009 but we all know what you mean...

Depends on your geographic location.

I found 2 dsdt.aml files, but one is in the Extra.bak folder. Can I delete the Extra.bak folder completely?

I am having this same problem.

It wasn't an issue until I ran NetbookInstaller .8.3RC1 on my Mini 9. After running that, my BIOS resets every time I restart. I have used finder to search for dsdt.aml files and found 2 of them. I deleted both and reran Netbookinstaller, same result. I also found a thread that uses terminal to delete the dsdt.aml file (I'm a Mac newb), I followed the instructions and same thing. It's starting to drive me crazy.

Anyone have any ideas?
