Default Snow Leopard Upgrade via AirDisk - 09-11-2009, 11:49 AM

Unfortunately I cant afford to have my mini unusable right now, but in a few weeks I will start trying to get snow leopard on it, but I have been looking over the threads.

Has anyone tried to upgrade from Leopard to Snow Leopard using just the AirDisk mounted install disk? I assume thats how macbookair people do it? I am sure thats the first thing people tried, so please dont flame me for the obvious, I was just curious....

The MacBook Air EFI (and the 2009 Mac Mini, actually) include Remote Disk for OS upgrades, but it is unique to them, unfortunately.

The only problem I see with installing SL from AirDisk is that the network may stop working during the upgrade, and you get a bricked install.
