i got it working. audio does take 10-15 seconds to come back. the keyboard shortkey works sometimes for up/down/mute. but its a minor bug. audio does work after sleep. whats the different between doing your way and doing the full steps in reymedia's guide?? i tried both and they both work. both reloads the sound after 10 or so seconds

On his he does both the unloading and loading of the AppleHDA audio kext on the wake from sleep. He also has a 3 second wait between them. On mine I unload the AppleHDA kext when you sleep and reload it when you wake, so it should be 5 seconds faster, but at least 3 seconds faster for sure.

you're right it is a bit quicker. still the keyboard shortcuts dont work all the time. but still good work. you should post instructions on the second page to the first because it was easy to follow. thanks again.

Can any of you 10.6 SL users confirm that SleepWatcher is actually executing for you? I installed in on my 10.6, but a review of the system log does not show that it's executing at all. I see the process running, but again, no log file output to speak of...

Thx for the note, but how do you know what's being executed? Are you actually getting output posted to your logs or is simply the fact that sound is being restored sometime after waking what you're basing this on?
