So ya both of my mic and audio is working, but only on my jack... I mean the speakers arent much, but it would be nice if it worked on both... I am pretty new on snow leopard...do you know if the jack always worked for audio after sleep...did I at least improve on something haha. VoodooHDA will give you audio on both, but it was distorted for me...I might try again just to see.

Ya it's weird... Did you uninstall Voodoos system prefs plugin? Just right click and remove. repair permissions and restart and see what works after sleep

Hey voda check out my first post. I edited it to include the sleepwatcher method. I changed the scripts and it works better for me... try it out

method 1 i use reymeida guide in step 7. but instead of pasting his commands i did yours with rc.wakeup and rc.sleep rebooted and still no sound after sleep. dont know if i did it right. im going to leave it like this for now til i hear back from you.

So make sure you do everything in reymedia's guide up until you edit those rc files. Make sure you load both files of sleepwatcher. One is the main file and the other is a startup loader to ensure you have it every time you boot.

Go to your terminal and type
sudo nano /etc/rc.sleep
remove the contents of the file ctrl+k will delete line by line...just hold it down
copy and paste my little rc.sleep script (3 lines).
Ctrl+x to quit.
Push Y to save

Do the exact same thing, but for rc.wakeup

Save it and then try it out. It takes about 10 seconds for audio to come back after sleep, but for me everything works. So try it out..
