if anyone can help that would be great

Sometime when I boot or reboot my Mini 9 it halts at the Apple logo. The only thing I can do is to hold the power button down to shut it down and when it restarts it might do the same thing....sometime it will boot normally.

Installed SL using official method and latest NBM (0.8.2) prepped on a MacBook Pro with Leopard installed. HELP!

This happens with older versions of Leopard as well and is a rather common problem. Some users have reported that it might be caused by having the mini9 plugged in (but turned off) for awhile before attempting to boot. I don't believe this has been confirmed but my experiences tend to align with this diagnosis. The only time I see this occur now is when I run the mini9 out of batteries requiring me to plug it in before booting.

I'm not sure if there is a planned fix or any active development on this issue -- I believe since it only occurs at boot/reboot and a simple hard-reboot usually fixes the issue it is of extremely low priority.

Hey Guys,

small update:

read in another thread that I should try to disable USB legacy support....did so and so far it has rebooted properly every single time. Once though I did get the 'Press the Power Button' screen of death during a reboot.
