Default Can't see data in Numbers/Pages after SL - 09-06-2009, 08:49 PM

I have a strange problem after SL update (at least I don't find it searching). When I start Pages or Numbers all I see is a white (blank looking) page. My data is there and if I highlight it I can see it in yellow. It's like all the fonts are white even though most are black and changing font colors does no good. I'm using Pages/Numbers 08 but don't have any problems on my SL desktop (bought Family Pack). I need both for some classes next week. Any suggestions?

Just deleted and then reinstalled iWork 08 with same results. Am I the only one who is having a problem with iWork 08. Does anyone else have it working correctly?

In Numbers, try doing a Edit > Select all.

Does it show all the data? If so then the text was changed to white. If it does not, then be sure to run a software update as the most recent version of iWork '09 should not have this issue.

Dell Mini 9 / 2gb Ram / Stec 64gb SSD / 10.6.1 / Everything works except mic input

Hello,
I thing you have trouble with your graphics card.
Have a look if your graphics card provide quartz extreme. If your card don't provide quartz extreme that's your problem.

Not sure what you mean and different Mini 9's have different graphics hardware?. It worked fine under Leopard but it's now like Snow fell on all the data (also Keynote is the same too). Graphics is GMA 950 chipset. Don't see anything about quartz extreme.
I really need to get this going before Monday. If not can I just reinstall Leopard?

Got them going. I reinstalled SL and they work fine. Must have been some fluke on the install.
