But, from what I can tell, you should simply do the following : 1. Boot into safe mode 2. Run NetbookInstaller .8.2 3. Reboot normally Let me know if that works out for ya ![]() Meklort's Blog | NBI Google Code Page | osx.mechdrew.com -- the best OSX installation guides |

Scratch the regenerating of the dsdt.aml file... not sure why I threw that in there!! ![]() I have given the same steps before... and do not know why that popped up this time! After I rebooted, I got the same stuck on blue screen routine as when I upgraded to 10.5.7. Hopefully I can plug in an external monitor again and fix. It seems the video kext puts my display into external monitor mode for some odd reason. Hopefully, the monitor trick works again and I can upgrade to 10.5.8. |

Worked fine for me. Had no reason to do it, just wanted to try it. lol The one sucky part of netbook installer is it defaults to meklorts touchpad drivers. I like them, just not as much as i liked the default osx driver. oh well. Anyone know how i can revert back to the original drivers while using netbook installer?
