Default no mac osx mini 9 install - 08-16-2009, 02:28 PM

I don't have a mac or access to a mac and don't have a dvd rom. I used transmac to make a dmg of the install dvd in vista and tried format with disk image and when I go to install I get a screen that says to reboot? Any help. I have even tried xcopy but it won't see the usb stick.

Is the usb disk need to be formatted to mac first or should i leave it at fat32?

It needs to be formatted as Mac OS Extended. TransMac can format it for you.

Check your BIOS settings - if you have Legacy USB disabled, then the BIOS cannot see any USB devices at boot time, and thus cannot boot from them.

Thinking of trying Dropbox? Use this referal link and we'll both get an extra 250MB of storage.
