Default How to get vanilla audio working after sleep! - 08-09-2009, 06:26 PM

I have figured out how to get the internal speakers(lnxneo's drivers) working after sleep! I used the same sleepwatcher method once used with voodoo drivers and it worked!

Check step 6 of my guide here: Fool Proof No Hassle Mini 10v Install EVERYTHING WORKS!!

If you have 10v and VerbHelper installed correctly, you should not need step 6. VerbHelper should take care of internal speaker problem after wakeup.

hmm well many people are reporting(myself included) that their audio does not work after sleep? Well they workaround seems to do just fine as well

AH perhaps the verb helper I had before was your original version! I will try redownloading it and make step 6 optional!

If you got a problem with wake from sleep, would you please try this command "sudo dmesg |grep VerbHelper" and send the result, I may be able to help.

ya, haha i thought that appeared kinda odd. Anyways, I believe it is fine as is. I am going to stay with the previous audio kexts and sleepwatcher method for now. I like it because it has no side effects at all and will work for every user no matter what.

But thank you so much for your help! if you can find a fix that works, please feel free to tell me!
