Serious, thanks for all the hard work everyone has done here.
got my dell mini 9 three weeks ago, put os x 10.5.7 on it with no problems upgraded to a runcore 32gb drive and installed 2gb ram.
I now have one of the sweetest little Macs I have ever owned!
that's saying a lot considering as a family we have 2 imacs ! powerbook g4 and an Apple tv.
I love this little MiniBook (my name for it) a great deal.
Yes the keyboard is smallish but so was the eepc I had and it was serviceable.
I installed the touch pad drivers and now have track pad scowling!
I want to sincerely thank all the people who have worked so hard that the rest of us can be able to do this!

I presume you meant "scrolling"; aren't spell chequers wonderful?

Seriously though, I would like to add my voice of thanks to the tireless trailblazers who helped make this such a painless experience. I'm eagerly awaiting a fully-sorted 10.5.8 upgrade path, and then on to Snow Leopard!

White Mini 9 | 2GB Transcend RAM | 16GB RunCore | 16GB Patriot Class 6 SDHC | Internal BT | 1505 802.11n | BIOS A05 | OS X 10.5.8
Thinking of trying Dropbox? Use this referal link and we'll both get an extra 250MB of storage.

I just booted into 10.5.7 for the first time and it is working great. I installed it to an external harddrive and haven't run into a problem yet. I couldn't have done it without all the great information here. Thanks so much!
