Thanks for the great work on this!
I manually replaced the KEXT and sleep worked 2-3 times then it reverted back to not working. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

So I found the solution. Hibernation was the problem. With the "Secure Virtual Memory" activated in System Settings/Security, hibernation file will be recreated after the reboot. Disabled this option, deactivated hibernation and deleted the hibernation file.

sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
cd /var/vm
sudo rm sleepimage

I installed this under 10.5.8 and it did fixed my sleep problem...

What about 10.6? Does this driver also fixes the similar problem I have under SL?

my sleep works sometimes but other it does not work. Usually if I close the lid it will sleep fine but sometimes the light stays solid and when I open it again nothing happens.

Same thing if I leave it open, sometimes it will sleep others it will not. Usually it works fine if I use the keyboard to make it sleep.
