Any third party software running? I'm having no trouble with only Dropbox running.

Same here. We'd probably have to use the combo to go from 5.6 to 5.8, but I'm not sure if we'll face the same problems people had from 5.6 to 5.7.

I'll grab my mini and try anyways and let you know if 5.6 to 5.8 via combo works smoothly.

After updating to 10.5.8 audio/wifi didn't work.

Re-ran DellEFI and selected re-install extensions, and restore keyboard pane and rebooted and now both the keyboard and mouse no longer work. Funny thing is audio/wifi is working now.

I quit everything, but no joy :/

I then restarted between deleting and generating the dsdt.aml - no joy

I guess I'll just have to remember to hit the sleep button before shutting the lid

Used Software Update to install 10.5.8. No WiFi, BT switching or Trackpad driver. Fixed by rerunning DellEFI 1.2a5 using only Reinstall Dell Mini 9 extensions and Fix Bluetooth. Reinstalled BT terminal hack and trackpad and all is well.

Just successfully loaded 10.5.8

Everything seems to be working fine after reloading DellEFI.

This update actually saved me a whole bunch of disk space! Both on my iMac and my Dell Mini.

I saved approx 300mb on my Mini....and almost 1GB! on my Desktop.

Nice.

Has anyone else noticed that Netbookinstaller no longer lets you select a volume after the update?

Use -x at the loader.

Yup, just tried it and I'm getting the same behavior you're seeing. Never used NetbookInstaller before.
