Default Full Screen Resolution Issues on 10v - 08-03-2009, 01:32 AM

Whenever I try to play a game or use some other full screen application, they always open in 800x600 as opposed to 1024x600. The options menus never give me the choice of picking 1024x600. So, I was wondering if there was a way to force an application to open in the native 1024x600 resolution?

Most full screen apps can only use preset resolutions instead of being able to scale to any resolution. 800x600 is a common resolution (screen ratio 4:3) so the majority of full screen apps will use it. There is no fix for this besides playing in a window so everything isn't stretched.
