This app helps you hide the menu bar and the dock for certain applications. Gives you a little bit extra room for web browsing and System Preference Panes ... index.html

You will require SIMBL as well:

It basically allows you to maximize any Cocoa app so it takes up your entire screen (hides the menu bar as well). Gives you every last millimeter of real estate these little screens have.
