Hey everyone, I've successfully installed 10.5.7 on my Mini 10v thanks to the great guides and walkthroughs on the forum, but I've still run into a few problems. My first problem would be the sound, specifically the line out, presumably the mic doesn't work either but I haven't tested. I've installed the VoodooHDA drivers from a variety of sources and at best have only gotten the internal speakers to work. Anyone have any hints for getting the line out / headphone jack working?
The second problem is with the bluetooth, which according to the guides I've read should be automatically recognized. I have it enabled in the BIOS and have tried the Fix Bluetooth option in DellEFI / NetbookInstaller a bunch of times, but no dice. The one thing I can think of that stands out was that I disabled bluetooth in Windows XP before I installed Mac OS X, maybe that could be the problem? Maybe I could boot into Ubuntu off my flash drive and renable it somehow?
A third question I have is what exactly does the /Extra folder entail? I've looked around for any explanations on what exactly it does, I see that it has kernel extensions in it, do these override the standard /system extensions? Mainly I'm asking that because the instructions for installed VoodooHDA.kext tell you to remove AppleHDA.kext, but there is still a copy of AppleHDA.kext in /extra.
Also worth mentioning that the installation was done with NetbookInstaller, my first install was done with DellEFI but I was having the same problems.
Hopefully my questions aren't to confusing, thanks in advance
