Default Mini9 10.5.7 appears as a PowerPC to Silverlight 2.0 - 07-05-2009, 06:27 PM

I have OSX 10.5.7 running on my Mini9. When I choose "About this Mac > more info", the processor name says Intel Adam. However, when I try to install MS SilverLight 2.0 (for Netflix Instant Viewing), the SliverLight installer says I am running a PowerPC... not Intel. Both Netflix AND Silverlight 2.0 require Intel. How can I get Intel to show up as the processor?

I haven't done this myself, but I remembered seeing the post a while back. Seems to have a solution.

Hope that helps you out.

I used that solution and it worked fine.

Don't count on being able to use netflix comfortably though. It does lag quite a bit.
