I followed mechdrew's method of installing 10.5.6 in hopes of upgrading to 10.5.7 after.

The only issue is that no drives or disk images mount. So when I plug in my flash drive, it is not recognized, neither is the 10.5.7 disk image when I download it from apple. I get an error about the image not being able to mount.

Any way to fix this

This is a knows issue. Use another mac or TransMac to copy the .pkg file to a flash drive or your mini and run it to update.
