....and the people in starbucks will be able to direct you to somewhere that sells proper coffee - not dishwater.

Hmmm...however, if you can run linux, then maybe you could run WINE or Crossover Linux on it and then run some, not all, Windows apps???

Wine (and related software like Crossover) doesn't provide the x86 CPU emulation necessary to run x86 Windows apps on ARM. You need something like QEMU to provide a virtual environment to run Wine in.

ARM-powered device will be running Linux or Android - no Windows or Mac OS. Also, you'll be limited in the available software.

I love this 9.
However, I'd really be tempted to buy a new one if it had a bit better video. I'm not talking about huge resolution, just smoother. *BUT* I dont want to take a hit in heat, weight or shorter battery time either.
Otherwise, I'm with Faber in that I'll just buy another 9 to keep for parts.

I too plan on running my two units into the ground!

I hope to skip over the next generation and get in on the ground floor on the inplanted computer in the brain, complete with retina reflextive headsup screen.

Virtual reality computing, with no outward hardware (outside of the body) needed.

Actually the above follows the computer embedded in clothing.
