Default Light or Dark: Which MyDellMini Style do you prefer? Changes you'd like to see? - 05-17-2009, 06:59 PM

When the site changed, I didn't like the "dark" theme. I switched over to the "light". Now I find I'm trying out the "dark side" again.

Which one do you prefer or are you using now? Take the POLL.

EDIT: Also let the Admin know of any tweaks you'd like to see to make the site even better than it is.

Took me a minute to figure out what you were talking about. Once I found the option I went to dark and don't think I'll go back. I find the dark easier to read. Thanks for posting this!

I voted dark too, but I think the post text needs to be white rather than gray. Would make it a little easier to read (it was like that before right after the cutover, albeit briefly).

At the moment, I like the Light theme better. The Dark one was nice, and I'll probably flip flop back and forth between the two - but Light gets my vote for this poll.

Definitely Light. When changed to Dark I find it less readable.

Dark, mostly because I've had tons of laser surgery (and cut open surgery) on my eyes thanks to Diabetes, so bright light hurts to look at.

I cringe like a vampire out in bright sunlight.

Overall, the dark theme looks nice I think.

I switch between both light and dark. Agree though, that the gray text could be bumped up a notch in lightness, to help contrast it better.

Light please....after 50 plus years of reading on paper, it just makes sense.

No, really. I found the dark format a little tough to read.

I don't think admin will take away our choice of "light or dark" themes, so don't worry.
In the meantime, continue to make suggestions regarding any improvements.

For those who arn't quite sure of what this is all about ... look at the bottom left of the screen and change your theme with the "Quick Style Chooser" to try out the other option.
