Default Clear Type eases eye strain - 03-07-2009, 08:23 AM

I'm enjoying playing on my new Mini 9 and reading this forum. The only issue (other than making do with my 8GB SSD until I can get a 16 GB one ), has been the eye strain after using the Mini 9 for 30 min or more at a time.
Then I remembered the Clear Type Tuner:

What a difference!

If I decide to install OS X on my Mini, is there a Mac-equivalent version?

Thanks.

Clear Type is just Microsoft's implementation of sub-pixel font rendering. I believe Mac OS X's sub-pixel font rendering settings are in the System Preferences > Appearance menu.

Ununtu has its own version of this as well. I'm using and am happy with it as well.
