Default Free Acronis True Image 10 Personal software - 02-02-2009, 01:48 PM

Acronis/Personal Computer World are giving away Acronis TrueImage 10 Personal Edition.

http://www.acronis.co.uk/mag/ati10pe

After registering, be sure to click on a link in your email confirmation to receive the serial number and download link
Note, if they site returns Error 500, go back and try again.

I don't have this version but thought I would pass this on as people that use the Runcore drives have been told that Acronis is good to use to image the drive.

Thanks for the heads up. I just tried that link and I'm getting a "Page Load Error" message. I'll keep trying.

I do have True Image 10, though it has been superseded by True Image 2009. Very good software. I have purchased three licenses.

I was trying to get this to go through, but then gave up. Apparently, the "Personal Edition" is very similar (as in it has the same limitations) to the free Seagate DiscWizard or Maxtor MaxBlast utilities that you can download. The big difference is that it isn't limited to operating only with Seagate or Maxtor drives.
