Google and install Tweak UI by Microsoft. It gives you the ability to remove the trash can.

I don't use Rocketdock, though, so can't guide you more than that.

It's good enough. Skidmark, with those instructions you will get a beautiful clean desktop. I did the same with my mini. Looks great.

Right click on desktop, view, uncheck show desktop items.
Worked great for me

How can you did that? I was able to do it on my dell pc, but never on my mini. I don't have that option enable.

How does everyone like Rocketdock. I have been thinking about this since it really looks neat. I have had computers for years and have never heard of it until joining this site. Reviews would be greatly appreciated.

This looks very cool and I'll be downloading it for fiddling with tonight at work.

Thanks!

RocketDock's OK if you want your windows desktop to look like a linux desktop! I tried and deleted it in a hurry. Just my opinion; YMMV.

It does remind me of when I tried gOS, except it's all windows underneath.
It sure does make for an...austere desktop environment!

I've cleared my desktop and quick launch into the Rocketdock on my Mini 9 for now and I'll give it a few days.
The ability to minimize to the Rocketdock is neat. I've gotten used to having the taskbar up all the time and having a little more real estate open is always cool.

We'll see.
