Meh.
Ended up uninstalling it.

It's neat to look at and all but didn't offer me any real benefits.

Ditto for me.

edited 1-27-09: I'm not that good with a touch pad. I had the dock at the bottom of my screen. I would keep popping or dragging a icon onto my desk top, deleting it.

I just felt it wasn't for me, even though it looks cool.

I'm running rocketdock right now and I like it. I use it on my desktop, but at first I found it a bit awkward for a netbook. I initially set it up at the top of the screen, but with Chrome's tabs all the way at the top of the window, I found that I was constantly popping up the dock on accident while browsing. Placing the dock on the left side of the screen is working out pretty well for me now.

I never much cared for it on the netbook, but I've loved having it on my desktop. Between it and launchy I'm set.

I use Rocketdock on my Thinkpad T42 and I love it! I have it set to auto-hide at the top of the screen and everything I access on a regular basis is right there when I need it and gone when I don't. Only reason it isn't on my Mini is that I'm running Cairo Dock under Ubuntu 8.10.

i have tried both rocket dock and object dock on my home pc, i spent a while with rocket dock but never got used to it, while almost identical, i have installed and used object dock for the past 6 months, and i like it a lot more, im not sure if its just me or not, but i found that while object dock takes a little longer to fully load up at start up(WinXP), ounce it was done, it never used nearly as much resource as rocket dock, i have not done any real testing of this, but i will be using object dock on my mini 12 when i get it.
