Default Anyone has some experience with love-battery.com - 03-05-2011, 10:41 AM

Hi,
i stumbled across Laptop Battery,Replacement Laptop Battery online store,Buy Best Battery For Laptop
They sell a 6-cell battery for the Dell Mini, in my case the 1018.
I ordered one 2-3 weeks ago, it arrived today. At the moment it is charging.
The finish of the battery pack doesn't look as nice as the original one, paintjob is more matte, but who cares as long as it is on the bottom.

So, has anyone had more experiences with love-battery.com?

I'm going to test runtime as soon as it has charged. According to the website it should be japanese cells in the pack and i assume that runtime should be 6-7 hours now.

didn't had any trouble today...i drained it until around 91% and it was showing a remaining time of over 8 hours...
electrically there is nothing special, it is a 6-cell lithium-ion 18650 pack with protection circuit...so there shouldn't be much of a difference.

Just for the record, i still use the battery and everything is fine! it runs for hours! i drained it until 80% now and it still shows 5:50 hours time remaining! Great!

And everything works. It does proper shutdown, hibernate/sleep and everything is fine!

You might want to do a couple of run downs, at least to 10%, to verify the runtime. Also, compare runtimes after a few months of use, as that's usually when the knockoffs start to noticeably loose capacity.

Could you let us know if the battery is still working now? I'm definitely in the market.

Hi,
just to give you a feedback, the battery is doing great! Fully loaded it runs for around 7 hours with my dell mini 1018+touchscreen. ;-)

While I haven't used this company, but have my share of experience with aftermarket cell's. First remember, the actual mAh rating is most likely one to two hundred less than it says. Also keep in mind battery "maintenance" is needed much more than the oem's.
