i has used iTunes but it makes my netbook lags.

Oh god I hear ya! I hate iTunes/Quicktime!

Have you thought about an Android device or a Zune? Basically anything that's not Apple should allow for simple drag and drop of songs.

It plays everything and it's lightweight.

vlc player is good - use it for watching movies on the mini and have kinda gotten used to linux now seems to run pretty quick on the mini.

I use iTunes myself, but I've not experienced the lag that some people have, the 2GB of RAM seems to be sufficient. I connect my hard drive from the docking station on my desktop and I'm ready to go. I rarely listen to music on my laptop anyway, I just use my iPhone or BlackBerry and sync those to iTunes.

Cool! I've never used iTunes, so I'd be lost with it. VLC player sounds interesting though...Does it do videos too?
