Norton Safe Web says it is clean. It may be that some user linked to malware - may have been a spammer. We remove those when we can. Furthermore, when I ask Google about mydellmini.com/forum, it doesn't complain.

Thanks holmes. That's sort of what I was thinking. Apparently it happened only for a particular post, but I don't know which.

Have gotten a few of these from a few different sites on the internet. But when I went back and tried to run a program to check for Malware none of the programs I use could fine anything wrong.
Also when I returned to any of the sites that posted the malware message they never returned the compromise message. As Holmes4 replied I would not worry about it. I would not let my guard down; but I'm pretty sure The DellMini site is OK. fdalbor

Got this message again. This time I've got the actual link address--came up first by clicking on the Dual Boot link on the left side tab in the Guides section:
Dual Booting Guides

I'm currently in OS X running the most current version of Chrome browser.
I tried it in Safari, but it only happens in Chrome.

wonder if anyone else can verify...

cheers.

There is no malware in the forum. However, we are having a difficult time with Russian spammers who add posts to the various guide topics and these may well link to malware. If a search engine picks this up it can complain. We delete the spam as soon as we find it. If you see a spam posting, please report it and do not click on any links.

Someone wrote a decent article that had smilies and screenshots hot linked from a site that Google now perceives as a malware site, I have since removed said hotlinked images from the article in question, do let me know if you see any more instances of this although it was probably just a one-off.

No harm done

Please do not send me support requests via PM.

Thanks for the response.

Really I'm not so much worried about security on the site. I'm more concerned about the appearance these warnings give. So I do think it's important to have them addressed when they do show up.

Thanks again.

I'll let you know if I spot any others.
