Question what is the usb milliamp voltage output - 12-02-2010, 06:30 PM

anyone know what milliamp voltage output the usb provides....am looking to charge up a mini helicopter from the usb but need to know what voltage it provides

i'm running a mini 1012

4.75-5.25 V, 500mA (max. current). I would not recommend bus-powered USB or self-powered hub as a charger because of potential current spikes during connect/disconnect operations. External powered USB hub is OK in this case. USB phone chargers (BlackBerry, some Motorola, etc.) are the best solution.


Mini 10v, BIOS A06, OS X 10.6.6, Linux-Mint, 1 GB RAM, 250 GB HDD
