Default SSID Name - 09-26-2010, 07:12 AM

Hi if simply for the fact that I thought up and decided to name my private SSID say: McDonald Coffee or Berger King Fries or Wall Mart Sales am I breaking the Law.

Anyway, "Berger King Fries" would be trademark infringment. "Berger King Sucks" would be free speech.

No - even if you had spelled them correctly. If,, however you did this in an attempt to confuse customers or mislead those looking for free WiFi services, there might be an issue.

Just don't use the letters p-o-d in the name or else a squad of black-turtlenecked goons will be on your doorstep in minutes...
