I want to get a feel for what operating systems are the most popular on you Dell Mini. What are you currently running? What have you ran in the past?

you should make the poll with the option to pick multiple OS's as where most of us Dual boot, in my case its Win 7 Ultimate and Win XP Pro

I might be wrong, but I expect most people multibooting use one OS much more than the others. Furthermore, I expect people who multiboot different versions of Windows, like yourself, are in the minority.

So, I have little problem with a simple primary OS poll.

Also, GO LINUX!

While you might not be wrong about the number of people who duel boot with a mini it would be interesting to see in the poll an idea of how many do actually duel boot.

As for myself I actually use XP and Ubuntu about the same. But then again I may be in the minority and thats OK. I find that Linux is better for some things than XP but then XP is better for other things than Linux. And thats on a 1010 which we all know is not the best Linux machine in the world. Interesting though. fdalbor

Sorry dual; sometimes my fingers type faster than my brain. But now that I think about it they sometimes do duel. hahaha; fdalbor

I dual (not duel, please, unless your operating systems fight it out to see which one runs) boot Win7 and OS X, but indeed I use Win7 most of the time.

I'm dual-booting Windows 7 and Jolicloud 1.0.
As much as I would like to use Jolicloud as my main OS, I use Windows 7 about 75% of the time.

true, I hardly ever use XP, I set up originally like that because Win 7 was relatively new and didnt want to go gung ho with 7 right away but as time goes on the partition for XP is getting smaller and smaller, it started out to be 320gb and 320gb but now its more like 50gb and 590gb roughly before formatting...I think I am nearing the point where one day soon XP is going to disappear entirely and will have to look for something else to dual boot with or just leave it a Win 7 machine being as where it wont run OSX, and probably I wouldnt even if it could..(maybe just long enough to play with it a little) (lol)....

Can't vote - run both OSX 10.6.4 & win 7 - one on each like both OS's but prefer win 7 only cos it's prettier and I'm more familiar with it.

I've ended up leaving Windows 7 across all my minis, great from the 9 to the 12, aero pending!

Add me amongst the dual booters. Snow Leopard and Win7, but I tend to run win7 more due to some hard drive quirks with SL.
