I'm waiting for the new Mini 10/v's to come out...that way I compare them to the old Mini 10v. lol

I would go with a Mini 9.Easy to mod.The 10v is the worst thing dell ever produce. Difficult but not impossible to mod. Plus SSD is a blessing when it comes to mobility. Plus the Mini 9 will get better as tech gets cheaper and better. You can still find them on Dell Outlet. You might get lucky and get a 8gb SSD instead of the listed 4gb SSD like me. Plus it will eventually be the most sought after like the PS3 60gb. Making it worth more. If only if the consumer were better inform

What are the advantages over a Mini 10v? It seems to have the lower 1024x576 resolution and weighs more?

Off the top of my head....

good:
1. New units have 1024 x 600 (mine does)
2. fan
3. touchscreen option
4. flush SDHC
5. real F keys
6. harddrive activity light
7. touchpad with individual buttons
8. easily upgradeable.

bad:
Yes. Heavier, but not by a lot.
Battery doesnt last as long

I believe the Latitude 2100 is a very capable netbook and the it's rubbery feel is "less cheap" then the hard shiney plastic of the 10/v/z. I've oned 9's, a 1010, a 1011 and now the 2100 and it's far and away my favorite. They're basically teh same on the inside, it's feel fo the outside that matters.
