It looks cool, except for the white bottom with the black palmrest - for what appears to be every colour. Who thought of that?

Also, I see it has kept the trackpad with integrated buttons, I've never used one, but I've heard it can be a little annoying at times.

Having said all that, this looks so sweet. I might be due for an upgrade.

Okay, perhaps my las post was a little overzealous. Check out the Adamo-like booty on this baby.

Not really my cup of tea. And that bottom really needs to be painted black or something.

I am interested in how this will perform especially with Ubuntu. I wonder if flash can use the GPU, since it is part of the CPU? The lid looks quite interesting too, a side view would be nice. No SSD option is disappointing, why are they moving backwards?

Can we hope these were just quick mock-ups based on a black or white system?

I played with one in a store and did not like it, but one article or another seems to indicate they've done a lot of work (including removing multi-gesture) on the pad for this model.

In the video from the op - she's saying this is fanless!? Correct? Please Dell, make sure this is hackintoshable. You'll see a huge bump in sales.

The X3100 and 3100 are not the same, from what I understand, so we may still be out of luck for OS X.

Hackintoshable it is.... good support... I doubt it because these have new decoding technology that require specific hardware codec'ing to be that smooth, to use certain chip-based algorythms...

Maybe rolling back pre- 10.6.2 you can find some inicial Apple tablet support for something similar... to start developing towards the n450.

Max Ram? Will the FSB be respected this time, or just paper spec'ed ?

But hey, if it is properly hackintoshable, I'm buying the day its available !!

I does look damn fine !! i LOVE the little edge behind the screen, plus the HDD led !
