Question Drivers Page? - 12-08-2009, 11:33 AM

Not sure if this have ever been brought up before, Like some other sites
there are (know good) drivers in a section of that forum. I was wonder if anything like that could be started here? Like with everybody going to Win 7 etc. some of the drivers do not work still (from dell), yadda , yadda!
Just a thought about having a drivers section for the mini's
Or have some way that folks could up-load them maybe? but that could be a virus problem most likely. Or maybe the right download exe file names ? again this is just a thought.

I am not even sure who the moderators or the owners of this site are yet but your doing a great job and I have learned so much here already in my short time! THANKS!
Jeff

I am not really quite sure how this would help.

Dell now have specific Windows 7 drivers available for download from their own website for all models which are available with this particular OS.

So far as I am aware there have been very few reports of these drivers not working correctly, and any problems usually turn out to be 'user errors' or caused by someone trying to install the wrong driver altogether.

Or is there something I am missing here, perhaps?

It's not always obvious, but check the "Guides" subsection of interest for drivers lists. There is one for Windows 7, though I think it's aimed at the Mini 9 primarily.

Uploading to the forum is a no-go. There are copyright concerns. Links to the vendor sites have worked.

been noticing, is a whole lot of post about how to try and fix them.
Ok I will shut up now *lol* Thanks anyways!
I will figure it out some how.
