In going through the normal startup in msconfig, I was evaluating the crap that Dell preloads into the mini. I got stuck on OA012Mon which is obviously some of kind of monitoring process, but a Google search was not enlightening. I found some HJT logs including one on this site. However, no direct questions about this startup entry. I verified that there is a running background process of the same name. Please let me know if I can safely disable this process in the startup to help it start up faster/smoother. Thanks! Eric |

I just got my new Mini10v and also have this process, google isn't helping- does anyone know what it is/does? |

My Google-fu must be better than yours. aboutmypc.net says it is a Creative webcam startup item. Mini 9|2GB RAM|64GB RunCore|Intel 5300|Windows 8 |
