After spending so much time installing/modding/hacking to get my DM10v running OSX I would hate to loose it due to theft. I have installed and tested the Prey software and it work even better than expected!!! ![]() After using this gem I thought it was missing something, what if I could track it with my mobile phone (iPhone for me). So basically I use Gmail for my email and I can forward a email with specific criteria (Subject, From email, etc...) to another email. Using the Carrier SMS Gateway email I can forward those messages a SMS/MMS to my phone. Would be nice if this was included but it's a good workaround solution (for me). Thought this might be useful since everyone that uses this site has spent a considerable amount of time on their netbooks, would hate to see those efforts lost on something can could be saved with a free program. Better to be proactive than reactive. EDIT: Forgot to mention that it can run on Mac OSX, Linux and Windows. So a multi-boot machine could also be monitored running under any OS. I'm considering installing it on my Mini10v, as well as on both of my wife's machines (Mini10v & MacBookPro15inch).
