Default Poll: Mini 10v trackpad - 10-22-2009, 09:15 AM

Ok just wondering what the general consensus is with the 10v trackpad (under any OS)

---------- Post added at 11:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:11 AM ----------

i'm using meklorts trackpad drivers in 10.6.1. Jumpiness much more improved, but still struggling to use it (compared to my Samsung NC10). Now I use a mouse when i'm at my desk...

At the moment I have resorted to using a bluetooth mouse, but I hope to try out some different (Windows 7) drivers shortly!

I suffer with it when I'm at home or not able to use a mouse, otherwise, I use a mouse.

I switched out my trackpad for the 10 model. i like it. but i wonder what will happen if/when i update to 10.6.1 snow leopard? will the NBI version 3 (with track pad updates) screw up my (replaced) track pad since it's a different model than that which the trackpad fix was written for?

I'm still struggling to use it. The jumpiness related to the buttons when i want to click has been sorted since meklort update NBI, but I find the actual cursor tracking speed inconsistent...

No, its not a synaptics trackpad thus the driver completely ignores it.

The new driver for Windows 7 really fixes the issues with dragging and using the buttons simultaneously.

Are you refering to the driver built in to the release version of Windows 7, or to the latest one from Synaptics?
