Default why does it make loud sounds? - 10-22-2009, 08:33 AM

i have not used my dell laptop for a long time, however, when i used it last night, it produced loud sounds,and left part of the keyboard became very hot. i donot know why. what is worse, it is difficult to shut off the computer.can anyone tell me the cause of the problem? thanks in advance for your help.

Might help if you told us what model Mini you have.

Or are you just spamming your online store?

my dell model is Dell Inspiron 1520. The phenormenon happened again lasy night . wish you could help me. thanks a lot.

Such infos are not worth to read them. Is it not possible for the Admin to close it?

Turn the speakers down and make sure the fans airflow isn't restricted.

It sounds to me as if there is a problem on the mainboard and the BIOS is issuing the beep to warn you about this. The CPU may be overheating.

I will note that an Inspiron 1520 is not a model typically discussed in this forum, which is focused on the "Mini" series.
