Question Upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 - Will iTunes be affected? - 10-09-2009, 01:28 PM

Hello, I am upgrading from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 (not a clean install) and I want to know if my iTunes will be affected (songs, date added, album art, play count, lyrics).
I've just spent about 2 weeks on and off organizing my iTunes library (just finished last night) and I do not want to lose it! All of the album art and mp3 files are on my hard drive (My Music Folder).
Will my iTunes be affected by the upgrade?
Any suggestions?

No, it should not. iTunes stores everything in it's own internal database.

If you're worried about it, just back up the iTunes folders under My Music and restore it after the upgrade, but it shouldn't be affected.
