Default Sidebar/ Desktop Software? - 12-01-2008, 05:43 PM

Just wondering if anyone knows of any good sidebar/desktop software which I could use to display information from my Google Calendar, e-mail, To-Do List , local weather for use either only my desktop, Mini 9 or both?

I'm currently using Rainlendar for this setup:

However I don't know how to configure it myself (I just followed a Readme) and I'd be wondering if there would be a way to display different .txt files based on the time and day of the week it was (for class schedules)

If anyone can recommend anything to me I'd be very grateful

The only other really good one i know of that would work for you would be the Google sidebar. I dug around a while and it seems like for XP the best sidebar programs even work trying are rainmeter/lender and Google sidebar. Unfortunately there isnt really a good one out there

nollie, I used Google Desktop/Sidebar on my Mini when I had XP on it, and I thought it worked pretty well. Performance didn't seem noticeable affected by it.
