Default Dual Boot vs "Virtual" - 09-12-2009, 04:08 AM

HI everyone,

Just curious what the advantage is to dual booting as opposed to using a software like VMWare or Parallels? My friend is running Parallels on his Macbook Pro and is very happy with it. Both ways run of separate partitions.

Better performance, direct hardware access are a couple of reasons to dual boot vs virtulization, but even those benefits are starting to fall.
