Diablo II under wine on Ubuntu 9.04.

Having installer troubles. The installer crashes when you try to input the serial number (verified several times). Installs and runs fine on my other Ubuntu box. Moving the Diablo II directory from my desktop over to my 10v right now, will update when it finishes.

RESULTS:
Diablo II does NOT run under wine on my mini 10v. Although it runs on all other linux systems I tried.

Please, 10, 10v users, write down - my dell was payed today and will arrive in 3 weeks

Right, I'm on a grand game testing spree, so I'll post up everything I test as I go. My mini is a Mini 10 (not 10v) on WXP. So far I've tried the following:

Unreal Tournament - Runs perfectly with software render.
Worms Armageddon - Not playable. Crashes on start due to the graphics chip not supporting 8-bit colour mode.
Alien vs Predator - Can get in game, but is unplayable due to heavy graphics glitching.
GTA Vice City - Gets in-game but runs slowly. Elements of the HUD flicker.

I'm pretty sure Starcraft won't work for the same reason as Worms Armageddon. Oh, and Peggle and Feeding Frenzy 2 work, if not at a stellar framerate. Still playable, though.

Running windows 7 on a mini10v (latest vista drivers for the gma950 - have had issues with wdm 1.0)

Unreal Tournament in d3d mode - edited config file by hand for custom res
Counter Strike 1.6 - seems really laggy for online play, but plays great with bots... need to investigate
Ooolllldddd games using dosbox run fantastic

Hey there, just thought you might like to know, Dungeon Keeper 2 works nicely on the Mini 10 if you add " -softwarefilter -nointmouse" to its shortcut path and lower its graphics quality to medium, and also StarCraft works perfectly if you run it windowed using DxWnd (you can download it from http://www.nynaeve.net/Programs/DxWnd.zip). I have a feeling that'll solve a lot of the games that won't run because of the lack of low-colour support, but I've only tested it with SC so far.
